Posting rules

Post each item once, in the category that fits it best. Duplicate ads are removed.

Describe the item honestly and use your own photos. Prices are shown in the currency you choose, euro (€) or pounds sterling (£), and must be the real price: choose “Free” or “Price on request” instead of entering €0 or €1.

Not allowed: firearms, ammunition and weapons; drugs and prescription medicines; stolen goods; counterfeit items; live animals (see below); tobacco and vaping products; adult services; anything illegal to sell where it is advertised (the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland).

Vuxsy does not permit listings offering or requesting live animals for sale, breeding, exchange or rehoming, including free animals. Pet supplies, pet care services and genuine lost-and-found notices are welcome.

This applies in every category, including Other pet services and catch-all categories. Lost & found pets is for genuine lost or found pet notices only. Use “Report this ad” and choose “Live animal for sale, breeding or rehoming” if you see a listing that breaks this rule; a moderator reviews every report.

Jobs: vacancies must be real, must comply with employment law and must never ask applicants to pay a fee.

Property: rental ads must be for a property you are entitled to let. Show the BER rating where it is required by law.

Do not put email addresses, links to other marketplaces or personal information about other people in your ad.

Moderators may edit categories, reject or remove ads that break these rules, and suspend accounts that repeatedly do so.
