Terms & Conditions
Last updated June 2026
These terms govern your use of Vuxsy, an online marketplace that connects buyers and sellers in Ireland. By using Vuxsy you agree to these terms.
1. About these terms
Vuxsy provides a platform for users to list, discover and arrange the sale of second-hand and other permitted items. We are not a party to transactions between users and do not buy, sell or take ownership of listed items.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity on your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
3. Listings
You are responsible for your listings, including the accuracy of descriptions, photos, condition and price, and for your right to sell the item. Listings must comply with these terms and applicable law.
4. Prohibited items and conduct
You may not list illegal, stolen, counterfeit, recalled or unsafe items, or anything restricted by law. You may not engage in fraud, harassment, spam, or attempts to take transactions off-platform to evade our protections. We may remove listings and suspend accounts that breach these rules - see Trust & Safety.
5. Transactions between users
Sales are agreed and completed directly between buyer and seller. Vuxsy does not process payment for items and is not responsible for the quality, safety or legality of items, or for users meeting their obligations. Please follow our safety tips.
6. Promoted listings and payments
Promoting a listing is an optional paid feature. Fees are shown before purchase and are charged when you confirm. Promotion increases visibility but does not guarantee a sale. Promotion fees are generally non-refundable once a promotion has started, except where required by law.
7. Intellectual property
Vuxsy and its branding are our property. By posting content you grant us a licence to host and display it for the operation of the marketplace. You retain ownership of content you create.
8. Liability
Vuxsy is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from transactions between users or from your use of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breaches of these terms or to protect the community. You may close your account at any time.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; continued use means you accept the changes. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. For questions, contact us.
