Creating an account
Signing up takes less than a minute with an email address. A Vuxsy account lets you post listings, message buyers and sellers, save searches and manage your favourites. Keep your email and password secure, and never share your login details with anyone.
Posting a listing
Tap Sell an Item to create a listing. Add clear photos in good light, a descriptive title, an honest condition, a fair price and your location. Accurate listings sell faster and build trust with local buyers.
Managing listings
From Your Listings you can edit details, update the price, mark an item as sold, unpublish a listing or delete it. Keeping your listings up to date helps buyers and keeps the marketplace tidy.
Promoted listings
Promoted (featured) listings appear in the dedicated Promoted Listings section and near the top of relevant category pages, giving your item extra visibility. Promotion is an optional paid feature; you choose the duration when you promote a listing.
Buying safely
Inspect items in person where possible, meet in a public place and pay only once you're happy. Read our safety tips before arranging a deal, and report anything suspicious.
Selling safely
Be honest about condition, respond to genuine questions, and be wary of buyers who push you off-platform or send overpayment "by mistake". Cash on collection is the simplest, safest option for local sales.
Messaging users
Use Vuxsy messaging to agree details and arrange collection. Keeping conversations on Vuxsy protects you - our Trust & Safety team can review reported chats, which isn't possible if you move to another app.
Account verification
Verifying your email (and phone, where prompted) helps confirm you're a real person and unlocks publishing. Verified accounts give other users more confidence when buying or selling.
Payments and billing
Vuxsy doesn't process payments between buyers and sellers - those are arranged directly between users. The only charges from Vuxsy are for optional promoted listings, handled securely at checkout.

- How do I post an item for sale?
- Tap Sell an Item, add photos, a title, condition, price and location, then publish. You can edit or remove it any time from Your Listings.
- Is it free to use Vuxsy?
- Yes. Browsing, buying, posting and messaging are free. Only promoting a listing for extra visibility is paid.
- How do I promote a listing?
- Open your listing from Your Listings and choose Promote, then pick a duration. Promoted items appear in the Promoted Listings section.
- I still need help - what now?
- Contact our support team and we'll get back to you, usually within 1-2 business days.
